What would $25,000 mean for your small business and your community?

Vistaprint, the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, and the NAACP want to know, which is why they’ve teamed up to create the Power Forward Small Business Grant program. Hosted by Hello Alice, the $1 million initiative will empower Black-owned small businesses across New England with $25,000 grants, plus design and marketing assistance to take their ideas to the next level.

Through this initiative, grant recipients will have opportunities to be featured on national co-branded platforms and receive marketing and design resources customized to their specific needs to help their business grow and thrive.

Everyone who applies for the grant will receive free access to the Hello Alice COVID-19 Business Resource Center, including step-by-step business guides, thousands of industry-specific business resources, and a peer-to-peer community of more than 340,000 small business owners ready to help you succeed.

Who Qualifies?

Applicants must be Black-owned small businesses with 25 or fewer employees and be based in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, or selected areas of Connecticut (see list of eligible zip codes). Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate the impact their small business has on their greater community and showcase how they intend to use the $25,000 grant award.

Applications open on February 18, 2021, and will remain open on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
